Welcome to Anxious Abroad! My name is Sydney Morgan, and I’m an introverted, sometimes socially awkward 20-something living with anxiety and depression. I am based in the Washington, D.C. area but try to travel as much as I can.
You can expect new content on the site every other week unless life gets in the way. 😉
The goal of Anxious Abroad is to provide real-life advice and inspiration to people with anxiety and/or depression from someone living through it. Anxious Abroad chronicles my travel adventures, provides advice on traveling with anxiety and depression, and discusses what it’s like to live with a mental illness (or two).
I am not a licensed therapist or psychiatrist, but I’m hoping my experiences can help others living with anxiety and/or depression. Anxious Abroad is meant to inspire you to try new things, find coping tools, see the world, and continue to thrive!
